Description:

Developmental Assessment covers assessment for children ages birth through eight. Both formal and informal instruments will be discussed, emphasizing tools that can be effectively used by teachers of young children. Considerations in choosing, administering and reporting results of assessments are also addressed.

Prerequisites: READ 0870, ENGL 0870, or appropriate scores.

Field experience is required.
