DSCC offers associate degree and certificate programs to prepare students for the workforce and for transfer to a four-year institution. Nursing, education, EMT/paramedic and business are the primary academic programs of focus. The average age of our students is 26. The majority of DSCC students are low-income, attend on a part-time basis and are academically unprepared and need at least one learning support course before they are ready for college level work.
