    If you complete the following with AP - Advanced Placement:

    • Calculus AB is designed to be taught over a full high school academic year. It is possible to spend some time on elementary functions and still cover the Calculus AB curriculum within a year. However, if students are to be adequately prepared for the Calculus AB examination, most of the year must be devoted to topics in differential and integral calculus. These topics are the focus of the AP Exam.

    You may receive up to 3.00 credits at Motlow State Community College:

    • This course is an intuitive approach to the concepts of limits and the differential and integral calculus with applications to business, economics, and related fields. Prerequisite: A minimum ACT Mathematics Subject Score of 25 or MATH 1630 or MATH 1710 or MATH 1730, and exemption from or completion of ENGL 0810 and READ 0810. (Formerly MAT 1330)
