Located in Tennessee’s third-largest metropolitan area, Pellissippi State Community College is a public two-year institution serving Knox and Blount Counties. The College provides access to higher education for a diverse student population by providing associate of arts, associate of science, associate of science in teaching, and associate of applied science degrees, as well as certificates in specialized areas and non-credit courses for personal and professional development. Freshman and sophomore level courses transfer into baccalaureate programs at public and private institutions. Both traditional and distance learning methods are used for course delivery.

Financial Information

Scholarships and Financial Aid:
Financial aid personnel are available to work with students to resolve financial problems that may hinder the achievement of their academic goals. The financial aid office has a representative on each of our campuses and we are open from 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Monday - Thursday. We close at 4:30 p.m. on Fridays.
Tuition and Fees:
In-State 12 Credit hours per semester tuition and fees $2,089, Out-of-State 12 Credit hours per semester tuition and fees $8077.

Minimum GPA:
The applicant's grade-point average on transferable courses must be at least equal to that which Pellissippi State requires for the readmission of its own students.

Official high school transcripts (must include graduation with regular high school diploma) are required, as well as official college transcripts from each institution attended.

New students must submit valid ACT/SAT scores. If students do not have ACT/SAT scores, students will take a COMPASS test.
