Prerequisite: ENGL 1010 with a grade of C or higher and ENGL 1020; Pre-/co-requisite: ENGL 2330;Description: Taking a comparative approach rooted in the history of immigration, students will explore classic American immigrant narratives and engage with contemporary texts by immigrant authors from around the world. This course will introduce immigrant literature by considering a range of genres, including short story, novel, poetry, memoir, and film.
