Through the development of a business plan and financial projections, the student will gain an understanding of the entrepreneurial process which is critical to success in the small business sector. Emphasis will be placed upon the start-up and the knowledge required in management, finance, and marketing to insure success in a new venture. The impact of technology and the global and diverse workforce will be examined.

      Description: This course will examine the role of creativity and innovation in business with a particular focus on the management of the creative and innovative process to solve problems and develop new ideas. Students will explore personal creativity, management practices that enhance or suppress creativity, the relationship between creativity and innovation, and the process of innovation in a business setting.
