Prerequisite: PHYS 2110/2111; Pre-/-Corequisite: MATH 1920; Corequisite: PHYS 2120;Description: Laboratory component for the elements of mechanics, including measurement, motion, conservation laws, gravitation, oscillations, fluids and thermodynamics. Algebra, trigonometry and vectors are used freely and extensively. Differential calculus is used extensively; the concepts and techniques of integral calculus are developed and used as needed. Prior completion of or concurrent enrollment in MATH 1920 is required.
