Prerequisite(s): BIOL 1120/1121 and one upper division biology course with grades of C or better; Corequisite: BIOL 4021; Description: Students in the biological sciences shall learn the functionality of geographic information systems and spatial analysis related to epidemiological and population dynamics. They will learn the integration of computer plotting, site investigative mapping, and analysis of geo-positioning satellite information from the application of real-time case studies of research problems in the biological sciences.
