  The course concentrates on application of the nursing process in a variety of settings requiring nursing intervention for acute problems of adult patients in acute care settings. Concepts of leadership and management are integrated into clinical experiences. Students do comprehensive health assessments, provide care, and evaluate the care given to clients and families. The course consists of five lecture and twelve clinical hours (NURS 4144) each week. (Formerly NURS 414) Pre-requisites: NURS 3320, NURS 4220, and NURS 4360/4364. Co-requisite: NURS 3300.
