Prerequisite(s): DIGM 1650, DIGM 1640, ARTA 1110 or permission of the instructor; Prerequisite(s) or Corequisite(s): ARTA 1204. This course provides practical and theoretical knowledge in interactive development. Through lectures and studio application of the underlying interactive principles, the student will experience, and gain a comprehensive understanding of interactive project planning, media components, interactive delivery systems, information architecture, usability, user interface design, and interactive application development. Principles governing critical analysis of interactive content and graphical design will be emphasized.
