Examines biomedical navigation of cultural and medical belief systems among Asian Americans, Hispanic and Latino/as, Native American and Alaskan natives, African Americans, and Euro-Americans. Considers role of cultural competence in non-ethnic special populations managing poverty and homelessness, addiction, special needs, neurodiversity and disability, gender variance, farmworker, immigrant and refugee status.
