This two-semester course is designed to introduce the student to the structure and function of the human body and its parts. At the beginning of the semester, each student is required to demonstrate a working understanding of anatomical orientation and basic terminology. BIO 201 covers cells and tissues, integument, skeleton, muscles, nervous system, and senses. BIO 202 focuses on digestion, respiration, blood, the cardiovascular system, lymphatics, immunity, urinary system, reproduction and development and endocrinology. Each course includes three (3) hours of lecture and three (3) hours of laboratory each week.
