Overview of the theoretical and practical aspects of business on the internet.Topics include job roles, connection methods and protocols, DNS, cookies, andplug-ins. Browsers will be used to download and manage files, definingdatabases, distinguishing among Web search engines, and conducting basic andadvanced Web searches. Students learn to configure e-mail clients and usee-mail and various Internet services and tools, communicate effectively overthe Interntet, identify Internet security measures, and apply projectmanagement concepts and skills to various IT job roles.
