An introductory course for Computer Networking and Computer TEchnology majors. Topics inlcude theory, problem solving, and laboratory, experiments in thefollowing electronics and digital areas: DC series/parallel circuits,open/shorts, AC, capacitors, inductors, diodes, and switching transistors,logic gates, combinational circuits, registers, memory devices, and digital toanalog conversion. Examines binary and other number base systems andcodes.Digital IC circuits are constructed in the laboratory. PREREQUISITE:DSPM 0850 or equivalenl skills.
