Intense study of geomorphic processes that shape our planet and create present-day landforms. This class benefits geologists, geographers, soil scientists, engineers, archaeologists, and environmental scientists. Offered alternating spring semesters. Lecture 3 hours, laboratory 2 hour. Mandatory field trips. Prerequisites: GEOL 1120 and 1120L with minimum grades of C or department head approval. Corequisite: GEOL 4080L or department head approval. Laboratory/studio course fee will be assessed.
