This course introduces book making as a printed art form. Emphasis is placed on experimentation with a wide range of media to create a number of handmade books. The printmaking methods will include such techniques as intaglio, relief, photo-etching, photo-lithography and monoprint. On demand. Studio hours 6. Prerequisite: ART 2900, ART 2530, and ART 3250 or ART 3260 or department head approval. Laboratory/studio course fee will be assessed.
