Theatre Entrepreneurship is the culmination of the students acquired knowledge, skills, processes and theories of theatre and entrepreneurial management. Emphasis will be on the pursuit of innovative opportunities to create value for society. Students will examine the activities and issues involved in the lifecycle of the Theatre Entrepreneurial process – from the conception of a new idea, to the birth of an art venture, to the refinement of the venture's business model and strategy. Spring semester. Lecture 3 hours. Prerequisite: THSP 3290 or department head approval.
