Providing the necessary inclusive learning environment requires teacher candidates’ abilities to adapt and modify curriculum for the cultural, physical, visual, linguistic, and intellectual differences of young children. The TN-ELDS, NAEYC, CEC, and DEC standards provide the foundation for early childhood educators to prepare, deliver, and evaluate effective instruction. Offered in the spring and fall semesters.
