Topics include past and present family trends, family complexity & diversity, family violence, mate selection, marriage, cohabitation, parenting, divorce, and work-family balance. PREREQUISITE: SOCI 1010 and Acceptable placements scores or completion of all Learning Support Competencies in Reading and Writing

This course introduces the learner to fundamental professional responsibilities and considerations toward becoming a diagnostic medical sonographer.

PREREQUISITE: Formal acceptance into the Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.

HOURS:30 lecture hours per semester
