This course is an introduction to mechanics. This course includes the study of the kinematics and dynamics of linear and rotational motion, statics, Newton's Law of Gravitation, mechanics of solids and fluids, the conservation principles of energy and momentum, and thermodynamics. The course is designed primarily for pre-professional health students.Credit in only one of the following courses can be used toward graduation or general education requirements: PHYS 1030, 2010, 2110.
