Courses are designed to focus on theory and application for the development of strategies and skills in preparing health sciences practitioners to pursue leadership roles. courses allow students to engage in independent study of selected topics. Student attainment of competencies will be demonstrated using active learning methods including personal portfolios, presentations, and discussions. Expectations for depth and breadth of student mastery of concepts vary by course (291, 292, 293). Prerequisite: Sophomore standing in a Health Science degree program or holds a certificate/diploma in a health related discipline or instructor permission.
