This course provides an in-depth analysis of the victims of criminal activity including: the various challenges victims face as they seek justice through the criminal justice system; the risk factors and probability of experiencing crime; and, specific theoretical perspectives that center on the victims of crime. Topics such as restorative justice and victim blaming are also explored.
