Pre-Req: MET 201 or 205Co-Req: NoneThis course focuses on the applications, types, and characteristics of ferrous and non- ferrous engineering materials, composites, and plastics. The course covers a wide range of manufacturing, production, and fabrication processes to include heat-treating, casting, forging, extruding, and welding. Field trips to local industry will be a significant part of this course.
