Financial Information

Scholarships and Financial Aid:
Financial aid must be applied for every academic year. Your first step is to submit a FAFSA. Once we begin reviewing student applications you may be eligible for one of our types of aid: Loans, Scholarships, Grants, or Student Employment. The FAFSA application for Fall 2024 will open Jan. 1, 2024.
Tuition and Fees:
In-State Tuition (12 credit hrs) and Fees $5,072 per semester. Out-of-State Tuition (12 credit hrs) and Fees $9,104. per semester, and Non-Tennessee Regional Counties Tuition (12 credit hrs) and fees $7088 per sem. https://www.utc.edu/out-of-state

Transfer Application Requirements

Minimum GPA:
2.0 Transfer GPA
Official Transcripts:
Applicants must submit official transcripts from all previous colleges attended as well as an official final high school transcript or GED scores.
SAT/ACT Scores:
Standardized test scores are required of some applicants for admission consideration and they will be notified if needed.
Letters of Recommendation:
Letters of Recommendation are not required for admission consideration.
Essay:
An essay or personal statement is not required for admission consideration.
Application Fee:
There is a $30 non-refundable application fee.
Interview:
An interview is not required for admission consideration.

The lowest grade earned for any course that may be transferred for credit is a D or higher.
