    Financial Information

    • Scholarships and Financial Aid:
      Financial aid must be applied for every academic year. Your first step is to submit a FAFSA. Once we begin reviewing student applications you may be eligible for one of our types of aid: Loans, Scholarships, Grants, or Student Employment. UTC's FAFSA code is 003529. UTC has a renewable $2,000 Transfer Scholarship (3.25 GPA and AA, AS, AST degree or 60+college semester hours).
    • Tuition and Fees:
      In-State Tuition (12 credit hrs) and Fees $5,381 per semester or $10,7628 per year. Out-of-State Tuition(12 credit hrs) and Fees $9,534 per semester or $19,068 per year.

    Transfer Application Requirements

      Applicants must submit official transcripts from all previous colleges attended as well as an official final high school transcript or GED scores. Schools may submit transcripts to: transcripts@utc.edu.
    • SAT/ACT Scores:
      Standardized test scores are required of some applicants for admission consideration and they will be notified if needed. Submit any official ACT/SAT/AP/IB/CLEP scores to: transcripts@utc.edu.
    • Letters of Recommendation:
      Letters of Recommendation are not required for admission consideration.
    • Essay:
      An essay or personal statement is not required for admission consideration.
    • Application Fee:
      There is a one time $30 non-refundable undergraduate application fee.

    Transfer Credit Policy

    • Minimum Grade:
      The lowest grade earned for any course that may be transferred for credit is a D or higher.

      Students must complete the last 24 credit hours at UT Chattanooga to receive a bachelor's degree.
