Before your adventure begins, you must save your spot at CU. By committing to Cumberland today, you’ll be ready to start the enrollment process to officially become part of our Phoenix Family.

Undergraduate Students (Associate and Bachelor’s Degrees)

  • First-Time Freshmen

    A U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident who is graduating or has recently graduated with a High School Diploma or equivalent; also includes students that may have received dual enrollment credit while in high school who have not yet attended a college or university.

  • Transfer Students

    A U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident who has graduated High School and has previously attended and received credit from another college or university.

  • International Students

    A student who meets the criteria of a First-Time Freshman or Transfer student, but is not a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident

  • LPN to BSN

    A unique LPN to BSN pathway designed specifically for licensed practical nurses (LPN) to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

Non-Traditional Students

  • Re-Admit Students

    Any student who has previously completed one or more semesters at Cumberland University, has not been enrolled for at least one semester elsewhere, and is returning.

  • Transient (Visiting Student)

    A student currently attending another U.S. college or university that is not seeking a degree. Eligible for one semester only. Must have permission from their current institution.

  • Dual Enrollment & Early College

    A current high school student who will take college level courses before earning their high school diploma.

Graduate Students (Master's Degrees)

  • Traditional Graduate

    A U.S. citizen or permanent resident who is seeking aMaster’s degree and has previously received a Baccalaureate degree.

  • International Graduate Hybrid

    A student pursuing a Master’s level degree; but is not a U.S. citizen or permanent resident; must be eligible for an F1 visa.

  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) CAS

    A student wishing to apply to the Master’s level program in Nursing; must be a Registered Nurse (RN) holding an unencumbered license. Cumberland is a proud partner with Nursing CAS. Once you complete your account, you will need to search for your specific term at Cumberland University by searching “Cumberland University” and selecting the appropriate entry term.

  • Master of Science in Athletic Training (MSAT) CAS

    A student wishing to apply to the Master’s level program in Athletic Training.
