Volunteer State Community College, popularly known as Vol State, offers more than ninety programs in five major divisions: Business and Technology, Humanities, Math and Science, Social Science and Education, and Health Sciences. We have students of all ages and from many different backgrounds. The diversity makes our campus a learning experience in and of itself. The College offers the associate of arts and associate of science transfer degrees in more than 40 areas of emphasis. More than 25 programs offer the associate of applied science degree, designed for direct entry into the workforce. Additional technical certificate programs require less than two years of study and are designed for specific career fields.

Transfer Application Requirements

Official Transcripts:
Your official high school transcript is required. Official college transcripts from all previously attended postsecondary institutions are required.
SAT/ACT Scores:
A transfer student is not required to submit ACT scores but may want to if the test was completed within the past three years. The scores are used for placement and counseling purposes only. SAT scores may be submitted in lieu of ACT scores.
