Volunteer State Community College, popularly known as Vol State, offers more than ninety programs in six major divisions: Business and Technology, Health Sciences, Humanities, Math and Science, Nursing, and Social Science and Education. We have students of all ages and from many different backgrounds. The diversity makes our campus a learning experience in and of itself. The College offers the associate of arts and associate of science transfer degrees in more than 40 areas of emphasis. More than 25 programs offer the associate of applied science degree, designed for direct entry into the workforce. Additional technical certificate programs require less than two years of study and are designed for specific career fields.

Transfer Application Requirements

Official Transcripts:
Your official high school transcript is required. Official college transcripts from all previously attended postsecondary institutions are required.
SAT/ACT Scores:
Submit ACT or SAT scores if under 21 years of age as of the first day of class for the first term of enrollment. (Scores are used for placement and counseling purposes only.) If over 21, placement testing may be needed.
