This course introduces forensic science and its applications in criminalistics. It is an overviewof how their structure reflects the underlying philosophy about forensic science as a scienceand profession. Various methodologies used in a modern full-service forensic sciencelaboratory are studied and how these methods comprise the activities and specific areas ofcriminalistics.This course was formally CRMJ 1310.
