Topics include the history of psychology, critical thinking and research methods in psychology, the biological and psychological bases of consciousness, sensation, perception, memory, learning, cognition, development across the lifespan, motivation, emotion, sexuality, stress and health, social psychology, personality, psychological disorders, and psychological therapies. (Formerly PSY 1410 and PSY 1310) Prerequisites: Exemption from or completion of ENGL 0810 and READ 0810.
