    • An introduction to basic economic principles most closely related to thesubject of money and banking. Topics include the practical application of theeconomics of money and banking in the individual bank and in the bankingsystem, the nature and functions of money and the money supply; financialintermediation and the various financial markets; the Federal Reserve System,its policies and operations. PREREQUISITE: DSPR 0800 AND DSPM 0700
