    If you complete the following at Tennessee Technological University:

    • Prerequisites: C or better in MATH 1920, C or better in MATH 2010 and C or better in MATH 2120. (MATH 2120 may taken concurrently). Introduction to electric circuit quantities and components, systematic application of Ohm?s and Kirchhoff?s laws, superposition, Thevenin and Norton theorems, operational amplifiers, RL and RC transients, and circuit simulation with SPICE.

    • Prerequisites: C or better in ECE 2001, C or better in ECE 2010, C or better in ECE 2011, C or better in MATH 2010, C or better in MATH 2120, and C or better in CSC 1300 (ECE 2001 and/or ECE 2011 may be taken concurrently.) Laplace transform methods for electric circuit analysis. Sinusoidal steady-state and power, mutual inductance, 3-phase circuits, frequency response, Bode plots, resonance and filters. Circuit simulation with SPICE. Circuit applications of probability.

    You may receive up to 4.00 credits at Nashville State Community College:

    • An introductory course for all Electrical Engineering Technologyconcentrations. Topics include voltage, current,resistance, and power in DCand AC circuits, series, parallel, and more complex circuits using Kirchhoffslaws and selected network theorems, capacitance and inductance, resonance,transformers, and polyphase concepts. PREREQUISITE: DSPM 0850 OR equivalent skills.
