Students will learn the basic constructs of a scripting language and demonstrate their ability to use it in a meaningful way with projects. Topics include computing as a creative activity, abstraction, data and information, algorithms, programming, the Internet, and global impacts of computing. Prerequisite math course may be taken concurrently.
