    • <p>An introductory course in microbiology which includes morphology, bacterial metabolism, cultivation, isolation, genetics, physiology, pathogenesis, immunity, control of microorganisms. Bacteriological and aseptic techniques are emphasized in the laboratory. </p><p>PREREQUISITE: Successful completion of BIOL 1110 or BIOL 2010 with a grade of C or higher.</p><p>COREQUISITE: BIOL 2230L</p><p>HOURS: Three lecture, three laboratory hours per week.</p><p>CREDITS: (4)</p>
