Description: Contemporary issues and achievements in African American life will be addressed in this course. The experiences of African Americans and other racial and ethnic groups will be compared and contrasted. In addition, students will develop strategies they can use with families, co-workers and peers to create better race relations in their immediate environments and nation as a whole.
